Florida Sales Associate Education Requirements
Be at least 18 years old
Have a United States Social Security Number
Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent
Complete 63 hours of Florida approved pre-licensing education
Submit electronic fingerprints for background check and an application for licensure to the state
Schedule with testing vendor and pass the Florida Real Estate Sales Associate Examination

Florida Broker Education Requirements
Be at least 18 years old
Have a United States Social Security Number
Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent
Must have been licensed for 24 months as an active real estate associate for five years before becoming a licensed broker
Complete 72 hours of Florida approved licensing education
Submit electronic fingerprints for background check and an application for licensure to the state
Schedule with testing vendor and pass the Florida Real Estate Broker Examination

Home Inspector Licensing Requirements
This license is required for an individual who provides or offers to provide home inspection services for a fee or other compensation. Any person desiring to obtain a license as a home inspector must pass one of the written examinations approved by the department. Home inspector examinations are provided by nationally recognized entities and are not administered by the department. Examinations must be proctored and cover the following systems and components of a home: the structure, electrical system, HVAC system, roof covering, plumbing system, interior components, exterior components, and site conditions that affect the structure.

Complete 120 Hour Principles of Home Inspection
Students must attest that they have obtained commercial general liability insurance in the amount of $300,000
Submit electronic fingerprints for background check and an application for licensure to the state
Schedule with testing vendor and pass the one of the four state approved the state department: NHIE/FABI/InterNACHI FL/CI-HPI
Licensing Course:
Mortgage Loan Originator License Requirements
This license is required for an individual who, directly or indirectly, solicits or offers to solicit a mortgage loan, accepts or offers to accept an application for a mortgage loan, negotiates or offers to negotiate the terms or conditions of a new or existing mortgage loan on behalf of a borrower or lender, processes a mortgage loan application, or negotiates or offers to negotiate the sale of an existing mortgage loan to a non-institutional investor for compensation or gain. In addition, the term includes the activities of a loan originator as defined by the federal S.A.F.E. Act.

Provide proof of a high school diploma or its equivalent
Pass a State Criminal Background Check
Complete 20 hours of NMLS-approved pre-licensure education course, of which a minimum of two hours shall cover the provisions of Florida Law and Rules
Submit electronic fingerprints for a background check to the state
Submit Form MU4 filed through NMLS
Provide authorization for a credit report
Take and pass both the National and Florida State components of the S.A.F.E. Test
Pay the statutorily required application fee(s)
